The Allen-Bradley 1756-RM ControlLogix Redundancy Module is designed to enable controller redundancy within the ControlLogix platform, managing the connectivity of two identical controllers within identically configured racks. Equipped with an embedded LED display for monitoring system and module health, the 1756-RM supports speeds up to 100 Mbps when paired with the same series modules, enhancing redundancy setup performance. It features a single mode LC fiber optic connector and requires a 1756-RMCx redundancy cable for synchronization, while configuration is handled through the redundancy configuration tool and Studio 5000 Logix Designer. Compatible with various ControlLogix chassis and power supplies, it is a single-slot module drawing 4 mA at 1.2VDC, 1.2 mA at 5.1VDC, and 120 mA at 24VDC, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. Certified for adherence to industrial standards like CE, CSA, Ex, C-Tick, and c-UL-us, this module features an open enclosure and a T4 temperature code, with a compact design weighing 0.29 kilograms.
