The Allen-Bradley 20-COMM-R is a robust communication adapter designed specifically for PowerFlex Adjustable Frequency AC drives, providing reliable Remote I/O connectivity which allows seamless integration with legacy Allen-Bradley PLC systems like PLC5. Operating within a temperature range from -10 to 50°C, this adapter supports communication speeds of 57.6, 115.2, or 230.4 Kbps and efficiently draws 250 mA at 5V DC from the host drive. It enhances the drives network capabilities, including integration with HMIs, SCADA systems, and a variety of PLCs and PACs, facilitating comprehensive access to drive parameters such as speed and diagnostic status.
