The Allen-Bradley 2706-A11J is a versatile operator interface device from the DL10 series, designed for clear and effective text messaging in industrial environments. It features a vacuum fluorescent display capable of rendering a single line of text with up to 20 characters, optimizing operator readout for applications in manufacturing and sorting. This module supports RS232 and RS422 communication interfaces through eight screw terminals, facilitating both point-to-point and multi-drop communication with the ability to connect up to 100 displays over a segment length of 4000 feet. Powered by a 110/120 VAC source, the 2706-A11J operates efficiently in either slave or terminal modes, seamlessly integrating with programmable logic controllers or computers for ASCII messaging.
