The National Instruments PXI-1409 (Part Number: 778336-01) is an advanced IMAQ device designed for high-performance image acquisition in industrial automation applications. It features four configurable control lines, enabling precise timing signals for camera acquisition, along with support for four video sources and four external I/O lines that can serve as triggers or digital I/O. The PXI-1409 is compatible with the NI-IMAQ driver software, which works with popular programming environments such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Microsoft Visual Basic. Its compact form factor measures 3.9 x 6.3 inches and weighs 0.38 lb. The unit operates effectively in a temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C and can withstand storage temperatures from -20 °C to 70 °C. It is designed to endure operational and non-operational random vibrations of 0.31 grms and 2.5 grms, respectively, across a frequency range of 5 to 500 Hz.
