As part of the Compact I/O module family, the Allen Bradley 1769-IQ32 I/O module is compatible with MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers. This module's 32 24V dc high-density input channels allow sinking and sourcing wiring combinations. The unit is CE compliant for all relevant directives and has C-UL certification.

The installation process for this module is the same as for the current CompactLogix rack. It is necessary to adhere to the same power supply distance rating while installing a CompactLogix I/O expansion bank.

The RSLogix 500 programming software is needed to configure this module when used with a controller like MicroLogix 1500, and you can select between the RSLogix 5000 or the Studio 5000 when utilizing the CompactLogix controller.
