The ACS580-01-361A-4 variable frequency drive is a special equipment capable of handling substantial power loads. With a solid, constant torque rating of 250 horsepower and variable torque capacity of up to 300 horsepower, it can reach 302 amps for the former load and 361 amps for the latter.
The ACS580-01-361A-4 features both dynamic braking and flux braking, which are braking types that allow for quick and efficient deceleration of the motor. However, it does not have closed-loop or AC line regenerative capabilities.
Operating the VFD model, ACS580-01-361A-4, is straightforward with its intuitive keypad. The VFD has been designed for performance, featuring an IP21 rating that guards against penetration of solid objects greater than 12.5mm in size and resisting water droplets from coming into contact with sensitive components.

The variable frequency drive, ACS580-01-361A-4, has specific transport, storage, and operation requirements. Keep the VFD within a temperature range of -40 to +70 °C for transportation and storage.
To ensure optimal performance, the VFD must be operated in a temperature range between -15 and +50 °C. Under no circumstances are we allowed to freeze.
With its exceptional altitude rating, the ACS580-01-361A-4 is designed to perform in even the most demanding conditions. It can be operated as high as 1km with no power reduction and still maintain a standard output of up to 4km - for every additional 100 m of height, only marginal derating needs to occur.
This model is designed to ensure efficient operation in various environmental conditions, with relative humidity ranging from 5% up to 95% and no condensation.
This variable frequency drive has specific contamination levels and functional safety requirements. No conductive dust is allowed near the VFD as it can cause damage to the equipment.
General Safety Precautions:
