Description

The Allen-Bradley 1768-L45 CompactLogix controller delivers advanced functionalities and a cost-efficient solution for medium-sized automation projects, boasting a 3MB integrated memory and compatibility with up to four 1768 modules and thirty 1769 Compact I/O modules. This controller features an isolated RS232 communication port, supporting DF1 Full and Half Duplex and DH485 protocols at a maximum speed of 38.4 Kbps, with recommended cables being 1756-CP3 or 1747-CP3. Additionally, it supports installation of two communication modules, including the 1768-ENBT and 1768-EWEB for Ethernet connectivity. The unit requires a backplane current of 2.0 Amps at 24 Volts, drawing 5.6 A at 5 Volts for 1768 modules and accommodating a total draw of 7.6 Amps at 5.2 Volts when combined with 1769 modules. Certified for a T4 temperature code with an operating range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, it has an industrial-grade emission standard and is tested for compliance in the US and Canada.
