The Allen-Bradley 1771-A1B is a PLC-5 chassis that serves as the structural and communication framework for various I/O modules, significantly enhancing the flexibility and functionality of any PLC-5 system. Featuring a compact design, this chassis includes four slots, with the far-left slot dedicated to the processor or adapter module, while the other slots accommodate communication, I/O, and power-supply modules. Designed for panel mount installation, the 1771-A1B can support power inputs via processors with integrated power supplies or standalone power supply modules, delivering up to 16 amps at 5 Volts DC, and is designed to be grounded via chassis-mounted grounding studs for reliable operation.
