The Allen-Bradley 1784-KT module facilitates seamless communication between terminals, workstations, personal computers, and Allen-Bradley controllers over the DH+ network or direct connections. This module, designed as a half-size 8-bit ISA card, is compatible with 16-bit or 8-bit ISA expansion slots, allowing your computer to function as an active node, thus enhancing application response with superior throughput compared to RS-232 networks. It features a 62-pin D-shell connector and supports both asynchronous connections at 9600 and 19,200 baud and synchronous data rated at 57.6 Kbaud for the DH+ network, accommodating PLC-5, PLC-3, and PLC-2 controllers with a single cable connection.
