Description

The Allen-Bradley 2198-H070-ERS Kinetix 5500 Servo Drive is engineered for optimal motor control, offering enhanced performance in controlling both servo and induction motors. Its compact design, with increased power density, requires minimal panel space, reducing both installation costs and complexity. With Safe Torque-Off functionality certified to ISO 13849-1 PLd/SIL 2, and Load Observer technology for real-time system compensation, this servo drive shortens commissioning time and improves machine performance. The dual Ethernet ports support linear and DLR topologies, providing seamless motion control over EtherNet/IP, while a single digital feedback cable simplifies system wiring. Operating within a flexible voltage range (190-528V AC) and delivering output power of up to 14.6 kW, this drive achieves high efficiency and integrates easily into complex multi-axis applications with capacities for both rotary motion and dual conditions control.
