The Allen-Bradley 2706-LV4P Dataliner DL40 Plus is an advanced message display designed as a direct replacement for the older DL40/DL20 series, featuring a Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) with adjustable brightness and a four-line configuration displaying up to 20 characters per line. With 128 KB of RAM and a versatile power input of 120 to 240 Volts AC, this model includes RS-484 and RS-232 ports for seamless communication with PLCs or SLC modules, facilitating file transfers and message uploading and downloading. It offers compatibility with previous series applications, supports a wide range of symbols viewable from up to 25 feet, and includes innovative features such as embedded variables, message chaining, and hidden messages, enhanced with color options and remote display relay control, all packaged in a lighter, more compact, and reliable build.
