The PS69-DPM, manufactured by Prosoft Technology, is a PROFIBUS DP-V1 Master Interface Module tailored for MicroLogix or CompactLogix controllers, integrating them seamlessly into a PROFIBUS network. This module facilitates high-speed communication at 12 megabits per second through a 1769 backplane-compatible single slot, consuming 260 mA at 5 Volts with a tolerance of +/- 5%. It offers robust exchange of data at a maximum of 244 Bytes per slave for both input and output, and is shielded with a burst rating of 2 kV at 5 kHz and a surge voltage tolerance that ranges from 2 kV in common mode to 1 kV in differential mode. The PS69-DPM operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and up to 95% relative humidity, necessitating adherence to installation guidelines such as power disconnection prior to handling. Configuration and diagnostics are streamlined via the PROSOFT.fdt (SYCON.net) tool, utilizing an EC1-160P with an integrated ASPC2 processor to ensure efficient data exchange through the I/O process data image.
