The SST-PB3-CLX module, part of Allen-Bradley and Woodheads SST product line, serves as an advanced Profibus scanner designed to facilitate communication between DP remote I/O devices and a CLX processor in Honeywell PlantScape and Allen-Bradley 1756 ControlLogix systems. It supports both Profibus master and slave modes concurrently and accommodates various standard baud rates from 9600 baud to 12 Mbaud. Configurable via the SST Profibus tool, it supports up to four input and output pages, each with substantial word capacity, while operating efficiently in Asynchronous Mode for versatile installation in local or remote chassis slots.
