The SST-PB3-CLX-RLL, designed by Molex, is a high-performance PROFIBUS scanner module tailored for integration with the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 1756 automation platform and the Honeywell PlantScape system. This single-slot module, which weighs 430 grams, facilitates seamless communication between Logix processors and PROFIBUS DP slave devices through its 9-pin D-sub connector, supporting up to 125 DP slave connections and standard PROFIBUS transmission speeds up to 12M baud. Equipped with configuration capabilities via the SST PROFIBUS tool, the module can manage up to 1984 bytes of input and 1968 bytes of output data across multiple I/O pages, and it provides robust network health monitoring with LED indicators for COMM, SYS, and OK statuses, ensuring reliable operations within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
