Ambient Conditions

The Q612B model should be kept in a controlled environment with a temperature that ranges from -25 to +70 degrees Celsius and a humidity level below 95%. While operational, temperatures must remain steady between 0 - 55°C for optimal performance.

When operating the model Q612B, users must ensure that the surrounding environment features a relative humidity no higher than 95 percent to prevent dew condensation. This device is designed for installation at heights of up to 2000 meters above sea level.

The model must be installed and operated in indoor conditions with no direct sunlight. The installation and operating areas for model Q612B must be free from any dust, dirt, or combustible gasses.

Installation Details

Consider the controller’s usability, maintainability, and durability in its intended setting before placing it in a control panel. Attach each module firmly to the Q612B extension’s base. Place the PLC in a cabinet designed to withstand shock (such as one used for electrical switchgear) and cover it with the appropriate cover plate.

In order to avoid breaking any laws, both the cabinet and its installation need to be up to code. Make sure there is at least 30 mm of headroom between the top of the switchgear cabinet and the top of the extension unit for proper ventilation and to make module installation and removal simpler.

Setting up the model on a horizontal or vertical plane is not recommended since these orientations do not provide enough airflow for proper ventilation. In order to avoid mechanical strains, this extension unit model Q612B must be mounted on a flat surface.

General Precautions

Connect the wires to the terminals of the modules installed on this expanded base unit without subjecting the terminal blocks to severe mechanical stress. To achieve a total extension length of no more than 13.2m, use an extension cable (43.31 ft.).

Installing the extension cord close to the primary circuit line (high voltage and high current) is dangerous. Space them out by at least 100 millimeters (3.94 inches). Join the cable from the first stage’s OUT connection on the base unit to the second stage’s IN connector on the extension base.
