TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

QC12B

Mitsubishi’s model QC12B is a general-purpose extension base cable designed to connect multiple units together. This advanced device meets UL and CE safety standards and can extend up to 13.2 meters, ensuring reliable connections for any application.

Technical Specifications of QC12B

The model QC12B is an essential component of any PLC setup, offering the connection between base units and extension units. This expertly crafted 1.2-meter-long cable offers corrosion-resistant connectors surrounded by enhanced shielding for maximum performance in various settings. As part of the Q series connection cables, the model QC12B guarantees reliability with every use.

The QC12B model is designed for optimal data transfer, allowing large files to be moved easily in both directions. Its clever plug-and-play architecture ensures straightforward connection, and its construction using natural elements ensures resilience under even the toughest environmental conditions.

The QC12B base cable stands tall against interfering signals thanks to its innovative triple shielding design, tightly sealed in a durable aluminum foil jacket.

Ambient Conditions

The model QC12B must be installed and operated in places consistently exposed to sunlight. The area of installation needs to remain free from any combustible materials, including gases, dust particles, or dirt which may cause a fire hazard.

To ensure optimal performance, the model requires highly precise temperature and humidity control. When in use, temperatures should remain within a range of 0 to +55 degrees Celsius, while relative humidity must not exceed 95%, or dew condensation will form on the surface.

The model QC12B requires very specific environmental conditions for optimal performance temperatures below twenty-five degrees Celsius and above seventy are ideal, as is a relative humidity lower than ninety-five percent. Additionally, the equipment can only be effectively used at heights not exceeding two thousand meters in elevation.

General Precautions

It is imperative to pay special attention to the installation of extension cables, ensuring that they do not exceed a total length of 13.2 meters (43.31 ft.). Furthermore, take care when positioning high-voltage and high-current lines so as to maintain sufficient distance between them during installation for maximum safety assurance.

Ensure ample spatial allowance between two components, as minimum requirements dictate a separation of 100 millimeters (3.94 inches). Strategically designate the number of extension stages to avoid duplication with any other set values. Affix the QC12B cable so that it leads into the base unit from outside its corresponding connection point on said foundation piece.
