The model QX80 contains 16 input points and has a rated input voltage of 24 VDC and a rated input current of approximately 4 mA. The isolation method for the model is photocoupler, and it lacks an input derating. The model weighs 0.16 kilograms and is equipped with an operation indicator. A LED (operation indicator) indicates whether the module is ON or OFF. The QX80 input module has noise immunity having a noise voltage of 500 V and a noise width of 1 microsecond. The protection class of the model is IP2X, and to connect this module to any other device, a cable with a core diameter of between 0.3 and 0.75 mm2 must be used.
The QX80 model has a response time of 10 milliseconds for going from OFF to ON (which can be configured using a PLC parameter) and the same amount of time for going from ON to OFF. The model has an insulation resistance of 10 Mohms and a dielectric withstand voltage of 560 VAC at altitudes up to 2000 meters. The model has an ON voltage of 19 V and an ON current of 3 mA. The model's OFF and OFF currents are 11 V and 1.7 mA, respectively. The DC input module QX80 has an internal current consumption of 50 mA typically when all 18 points are ON. The common terminal for the model from the 18 points is a TB18 terminal, and the terminal TB17 is vacant.
GX Developer can be used to configure the QX80 module's settings. On the PLC parameter's I/O assignment tab, under the "Type" combo box, choose "Input" or "I/O." Then, select the input response time from the "I/O response time" combo box by clicking the "Detailed setting" button.
The QX80 module can be attached by depressing the mounting lever on the bottom of the module. When ready, fully insert the module's fastening projection into the base unit's hole. When everything is in position, you may push the module into place. Please ensure that the external power source to the system is entirely disconnected before attempting module installation or removal. There's a chance the product might suffer damage if this step is skipped. Do not touch the module's conductive parts or electrical components with any bare skin.
When you're done with the wiring, you'll need to install the module QX80's terminal cover. If you don't do this, you might get a shock. Ensure the rated voltage and terminal arrangement are correct, and the wires are correctly connected before you begin wiring the module. A failure may occur if a power supply with a different voltage rating is used or the wiring is improper.
