Allen-Bradley SMC-2 Series

The Allen-Bradley SMC-2 is an older-generation soft motor controller for basic motor-starting applications. It provides solid-state reduced voltage, starting to minimize inrush current and mechanical stress on motors. While offering essential soft start and stopping functions, the SMC-2 lacks advanced diagnostics and features found in later models. It has since been discontinued and replaced by a newer series with improved functionality.
