The Allen-Bradley 150-A24FBDB compact soft-starter is a versatile SMC-2 smart motor controller designed for three-phase input line voltages between 380 to 460V AC at 50 to 60 Hz. It supports a maximum power rating of 15 kW, with capabilities extending to 20 HP, ensuring robust performance across various voltage levels. Equipped with a rotary digital switch, DIP switches, and LED status indicators, it provides real-time fault detection and operational monitoring including phase loss, stalled motor, and shorted SCR detection. Additionally, the controller offers energy-saving features for motors experiencing light or no load and supports three standard modes of operation: current limit start, full voltage start, and soft start. Suitable for operation at altitudes below 2000 meters and temperatures ranging from 32 to 122 °F, the controller features a NEMA Type 4, IP65 enclosure and an 80 W maximum heat dissipation, providing durability and efficiency in demanding environments.
