The Smart Motor Controller (SMC-2) 150-A24JB is a highly adaptable solid state controller designed for starting and managing standard squirrel-cage induction motors with three-phase operation. Engineered to operate in modes such as current limit start, soft start, and full voltage start, it accommodates a range of motor control requirements effortlessly. It boasts a power rating of 24 amps, suited for motors from 1 to 15 HP (11 kW), and is protected by an IP54 NEMA-rated enclosure, functioning on an input line voltage of 400 to 480 volts AC at both 50 and 60 Hertz. Enhanced with digital adjustments for user-friendly setup, the controller can easily adapt to existing systems, eliminating additional wiring needs when installed in series mode. With the optional interface module, it supports soft stop features to prevent load shifts and integrates seamlessly with external control devices, offering versatility in control schemes through auxiliary contacts and energy-saving functionality. The built-in protection safeguards against line surges, prolonging the lifecycle of the Solid State Controller.
