The Allen-Bradley 150-A720BBD is a SMC PLUS 3-phase solid-state motor controller, designed to efficiently manage machines with both standard 3-phase squirrel-cage induction motors and resistive loads. It supports a wide operational voltage range between 200-460V AC at 50-60 Hz, with a significant current capacity of 720 A. This controller excels with its flexible motor starting options, offering full-voltage start, current limit start, and soft start with a selectable kickstart. It accommodates high power ranges, with capabilities of up to 600 HP at 460V AC. Its robust design ensures operational stability under challenging conditions, with a shock resistance of 30 g and vibration resistance of 2.5 g, while functioning within an extensive temperature range of 32-122°F and up to an altitude of 6560 ft. Notably, it features energy-saving capabilities without the need for additional wiring or panel space and includes diagnostic LED indicators. Enclosed in a NEMA Type 1 ventilated case, the 150-A720BBD offers optional features such as slow-speed with braking and smart motor braking, enhancing its adaptability for diverse industrial applications.
