The Allen-Bradley 150-A850BCD is an advanced SMC Plus smart motor controller from Rockwell Automation, housed in a NEMA Type 1 ventilated enclosure. It boasts rotary digital switches, DIP switches, and dual-purpose LED indicators for enhanced control and ease of use. This controller supports three standard operational modes: current limit start, soft start with kickstart, and full voltage start. Additionally, users have the option to include features such as smart motor braking or soft stopping. Capable of handling input line voltages from 200 to 575V AC, it operates across 3-phase, 50 and 60 Hz systems, with a powerful current rating of 850A. Depending on frequency and voltage, it delivers outputs ranging up to 800 HP at 575V AC. The 150-A850BCD is designed for resilience with a shock resistance of 30 g for 11 ms and can function efficiently within temperatures of 0-50 °C, maintaining performance at altitudes up to 2000 meters. With minimal installation hassle, the controller can be wired with or without a motor starter, ensuring flexibility and integration efficiency.
