The Allen-Bradley 150-A97NA-ND is an open-type SMC-2 solid-state soft starter, expertly designed for three-phase smart motor control with an input line voltage of 200 to 230V AC at both 50 and 60 Hz frequency. It offers an interface option for 100 to 120V AC single-phase also at 50 and 60 Hz, both with a tolerance margin of -15% to 10%. Rated at 97 A, it supports motors up to 30 HP at 230V or 25 kW at 220V. Built with efficiency in mind, it features a maximum heat dissipation of 285 W and includes a 45 VA heatsink fan. It is engineered to function optimally at altitudes up to 2000 meters and operating temperatures between 0 to 50 °C. Weighing approximately 10.5 kg, the controller is equipped with a status LED for power and fault indication, including shorted SCRs, phase loss, and stalled motors. User-friendly enhancements like a rotary digital switch, DIP switches, and three selectable modes”soft start, current limit, and full voltage”complement its advanced capabilities. Additionally, its energy-saving mode intelligently activates under low load conditions.
