The Allen-Bradley 150-A97NB soft-starter is a versatile SMC-2 solid-state, three-phase motor controller designed to efficiently handle input line voltages ranging from 380 to 460V AC at 50 to 60 Hz. With controller and motor ratings supporting up to 75 HP at 460V AC, this unit features advanced configuration options through DIP switches and a rotary digital switch, alongside an LED status indicator for monitoring power and any operational faults, including stalled motors and phase loss. Operating within a temperature range of 0 to 50 °C and up to an altitude of 2000 meters, the controller incorporates three modes of operation: full voltage start, current limit start, and soft start, with an energy-saving feature for conditions of light or no load.
