The Allen-Bradley 150-A97NB-8B4NA SMC-2 Smart Motor Controller is a robust and versatile solution for microprocessor-controlled starting of standard three-phase squirrel cage induction motors. This compact solid-state controller supports Soft Start, Current Limit Start, and Full Voltage Start modes, with a 97A current rating and operates within a voltage range of 380 to 480V AC at 50/60Hz. It features advanced protection mechanisms, including DV/DT protection with a Snubber Network, transient and surge protection via an MOV, and built-in pre-start safeguards against phase loss and shorted SCRs. Engineered for resilience, it can handle extreme conditions such as temperatures from -40 to 185°F and altitudes up to 2000m, all while maintaining CE, CSA, and UL certification.
