The Allen Bradley 150-A97NCD is an advanced 3-phase smart SCR solid-state Soft Starter designed to handle input AC line voltages of 200, 230, 460, and 575 volts, smoothly starting 3-phase AC induction motors up to 75 HP at 575 volts, with a rated current capacity of 97 amperes. Part of the SMC PLUS Smart Motor Controllers family, this versatile soft starter offers multiple operational modes, user-friendly DIP switch configurations, and essential protection features tailored for a range of applications, including Soft Start, Full Voltage Start, Soft Start with Selectable Kickstart, and Current Limit Start. It includes specialty function options such as Soft Stop, Pump Control, and Slow Speed with Braking, while its integrated microcontroller provides continuous operational monitoring for abnormal conditions, activating diagnostic LEDs and potentially shutting down the motor to prevent damage.
