The Allen-Bradley 1734-AENT is a robust POINT I/O Ethernet I/P communication adapter designed to facilitate seamless real-time I/O data exchange between a POINT I/O rack and the master controller over an Ethernet I/P network. Equipped with a built-in RJ45 Ethernet communication port, it supports 10/100 Mbps transmission speeds with auto-negotiation for ease of integration, and allows connectivity in star and tree topologies via Category 5 cabling. This module supports the integration of up to 63 POINT I/O modules or 504 I/O points, with provisions for expansion power supplies, ensuring flexible and scalable system configurations. It features three LED status indicators for effective monitoring, implements Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) for reliable messaging, and supports simultaneous communication with multiple controllers, making it an essential component for efficient industrial automation.
