Description

The Allen-Bradley 1746-A13 is a robust thirteen-slot chassis from the SLC500 PLC series, engineered to house CPU, I/O, communication, and specialty modules along with the system power supply within its secure backplane connections. Designed for versatility, it offers eight mounting tabs for panel installation with M4 or M5 screws, while ensuring optimal operation with clearances of 15.3 cm on the top and >10.2 cm on the sides. The chassis measures 50.2 x 17.1 x 14.5 cm, weighs 1.9 kg, and supports a backplane current of 10A at 5.1 VDC and 2.88 A at 24 VDC, operating efficiently within temperatures of 0°C to +60°C. Certified for US and Canadian standards, CE compliant, and suitable for Class I, Division 2 or non-hazardous locations, this chassis represents industrial durability and compliance.
