Description

The Allen-Bradley 1746-A4 is a robust expansion module within the SLC 500 series, offering four slots for accommodating additional modules and integrating seamlessly via panel mounting. Designed for flexibility, it can function independently or in a multi-chassis configuration, supporting up to 30 I/O slots collectively when interconnected with appropriate cables such as the 1746-C7, 1746-C9, or 1746-C16, catering to diverse spatial layouts. With a sturdy design, it requires a power supply mounted on its left panel and features a backplane supplying 5.1 Volts DC at 10 A and 24 Volts DC at 2.88 A, maintaining operational efficiency between temperatures of 0 and 60 degrees Celsius in a high humidity environment.
