The Allen Bradley 1746-BLM Blow Molding Module for the SLC 500 system offers outstanding performance through its intelligent specialty functions, making it ideal for continuous extrusion, accumulator, and reciprocating screw machines. This module supports four independent axes of PID control with discrete I/O, complemented by 4 digital and 4 analog inputs and outputs, alongside a dedicated excitation output. With a 14-bit resolution and a conversion rate of 10 kHz, it operates effectively with a backplane current of 110 mA at 5 Volts, and maintains a robust isolation voltage of 500 Volts DC. Its ability to independently perform servo control tasks, coupled with quick 100-microsecond loop updates and interpolated 256-point resolution, enhances its utility across varied plastic machine applications, all within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and 5% to 95% non-condensing relative humidity.
