The Allen Bradley 1746-HS is a versatile IMC 110 Motion Control Module designed for integration with SLC 500 systems, offering compatibility with various SLC processors except the SLC 5/01 and SLC 5/02 models. It features 24 Volt DC inputs and outputs, requiring 300 mA at 5 Volts DC and 104 mA at 24 Volts DC backplane current, with a rapid input frequency of 300 kHz and quick response times of 100 milliseconds for inputs and 2.5 milliseconds for outputs. The module supports the Offline Development System (ODS) for project creation and editing through an RS-485 communication port, maintaining performance via continuous I/O updates and best placement near the SLC processor in a clean, dry environment with an operational temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
