The Allen-Bradley 1746-HSRV is a high-performance SLC 500 single-axis servo control module designed for precise, closed-loop servo applications. It supports multiple command modes, such as absolute and incremental moves, with a sophisticated 32-bit absolute position register, ensuring versatile and accurate control. The module features a maximum encoder feedback frequency of 300 kHz, three general-purpose local fast inputs, and one fast output, facilitating efficient communication with ±10V analog velocity commands. Its configuration leverages M files to define operations and interact seamlessly with various SLC 500 processors, supporting up to twelve modules per rack for expanded control capabilities. The 1746-HSRV is powered using 24V DC and interfaces with encoders directly, handling connections through a 1746-HT termination panel and 1746-HC cable, while maintaining a compact form factor ideal for space-constrained installations.
