The Allen-Bradley 1746-IV16 is a discrete input module designed for the SLC 500 series, offering sixteen sourcing input channels to interface with electrical signaling devices for binary signal states. This module operates at a nominal voltage of 24 VDC with a flexible range of 10-30 VDC and supports source wiring configurations, where the module provides signal voltage to devices that lack it. It features a maximum on-state input voltage of 5.0 VDC, boasts a maximum signal delay time of 8 ms for state transitions, and includes 16 LED indicators for real-time status monitoring. The single-slot design fits any available 1746 chassis slot, making it suitable for both local and remote I/O configurations, while its removable terminal blocks simplify wiring and maintenance.
