The Allen-Bradley 1746-NR4 is an RTD/resistance input module for the SLC 500 series, featuring four backplane-isolated channels and employing sigma-delta modulation for A/D conversion. It supports a range of RTD types, including Nickel, Copper, and various Platinum forms, and offers temperature measurement capabilities from -200 to 850 degrees Celsius. The module incorporates a low-pass digital filter with programmable frequencies, automated self-calibration, and comprehensive LED status indicators for monitoring, while maintaining optical isolation at 500 Volts DC. Additionally, it efficiently measures resistance ranges, supports multiple chassis installations, and operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
