The Allen-Bradley 1746-NT8 is an advanced SLC 500 Thermocouple/mV Analog Input Module featuring eight channels for precise signal reception and conversion. Utilizing Delta-Sigma signal conversion and a digital low-pass filter, the module ensures accurate data retrieval by converting thermocouple and millivolt inputs to digital values for SLC 500 processors. Key features include a robust input overvoltage protection of ±30V DC, auto-calibration every two minutes, and selectable data formats such as engineering units and scaled for PID. The module provides excellent noise rejection with normal and common mode rejection ratios greater than 100 dB at 50-60 Hz, and efficient operation within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. Designed for use with SLC 500 systems, it easily integrates with both fixed and modular hardware configurations, offering reliable performance for industrial applications.
