The Allen-Bradley 1746-OAP12 SLC 500 Digital Output Module, designed for the 1746 Chassis, features a removable terminal block and offers 12 AC outputs, partitioned into two commons with electronic fuses. It supports an output voltage range of 85 to 265V AC at frequencies between 47 to 63Hz, with a backplane current draw of 0.370A at 5V DC. The module delivers rapid signal transitions with an ON delay of 1ms and an OFF delay of 11ms, while maintaining a low maximum leakage current of 2mA in the OFF state. Capable of handling a total output current of 9A at 30°C, it provides robust surge protection with a 17A surge capacity for 25ms, and sustains its performance across a broad operating temperature of 0 to 60°C. The 1746-OAP12 is compatible with SLC500 processors, although programming a fault routine to clear major faults is unsupported starting from the SLC5/02 series.
