Description

The Allen-Bradley 1746-OB16 is a discrete output module designed for the SLC 500 series, featuring sixteen 24V DC output channels for precise control in automation processes. This module seamlessly integrates into the SLC 500 chassis, excluding the processor-reserved slot, and is capable of driving devices with a backplane current draw of 0.280A at 5V DC. With a swift ON signal delay of 0.1 ms and OFF delay of 1 ms, it handles a continuous current of up to 1.5A per channel at 30°C, providing reliable performance across its operational range from 0 to 60°C. The 1746-OB16 maintains operational integrity in demanding environments, boasting approvals for UL, CSA, and hazardous location standards, while offering comprehensive voltage isolation and impressive shock and vibration resistance.
