The 1746-OBP16 is a versatile 16-channel discrete output module from the SLC 500 series, delivering dependable 24VDC outputs with an integrated fuse for short-circuit protection. Designed to occupy a single slot within an SLC 500 chassis, this module is compatible with both fixed and modular hardware configurations. Featuring individual electronic protection per channel, it ensures continued operation of unaffected channels even during short-circuit conditions, indicated by an E-FUSE LED on the front panel, and facilitates automatic recovery once errors are resolved and power is reset.
