The 1746-P4 is a reliable power supply module designed for SLC 500 systems, providing essential backplane power to local or remote I/O chassis. It operates with an input voltage range of 85 to 132V and 170 to 250V AC at frequencies between 47 and 63 Hz, and includes a 24VDC output for external device support, albeit unsuitable for output modules to avoid complex troubleshooting. Featuring a hold-up time of 20 ms at full load and 3000 ms at no load, the 1746-P4 ensures continued logic processing during voltage dips, and it is UL listed and CSA certified for use in Class 1, Div 2 hazardous locations.
