The Allen-Bradley 1746-QV is an advanced SLC-500 open loop velocity control module that skillfully manages hydraulic ram speed and placement with input from linear displacement transducers and pre-programmed motion profiles. It operates with an output range of -10V to 10V DC, allowing up to seven voltage settings for precise control of extension and retraction profiles, ensuring efficient performance with energy savings and reduced cycle times. Designed for compatibility with standard proportional amplifiers, it integrates seamlessly into various hydraulic systems, with applications spanning from welding to die casting and pneumatic actuators. Featuring LED indicators for RUN and FAULT conditions and requiring installation in any I/O slot except slot 0, the 1746-QV supports several LDT models, operates within a temperature range of 0-60 °C, and is isolated by 1500V AC between its backplane and LDT inputs, promising robust and accurate performance for demanding industrial applications.
