Description
The 1746sc-CTR4 module from Spectrum Controls is a versatile flowmeter and counter module designed for seamless integration with Allen-Bradleys Smart Logic Controller (SLC) platform. This four-channel module supports quadrature encoder inputs and features external counter enable inputs, making it ideal for applications requiring precise counting and flow measurement. With a broad input voltage compatibility ranging from 50mV to 75VAC peak, as well as 5, 12, and 24VDC, it operates at a maximum frequency of 50 kHz. Notable features include configurable input filters, built-in fault detection, and programmable alarm flags, which enhance its reliability and accuracy, achieving a count mode accuracy of +/-1 count and rate accuracies as precise as 0.001% at 1 Hz. The module is equipped with both module and input status indicators for easy troubleshooting and comes with a 24-pin removable connector suitable for wiring harnesses from 12 AWG to 28 AWG, ensuring flexible installation and maintenance.
