The Spectrum Controls 1746sc-NI8U is an 8-channel universal analog input module tailored for Allen-Bradley SLC 500 systems, facilitating seamless integration into industrial automation. This versatile module supports a diverse range of input types, including thermocouples, RTDs, millivolt, voltage, and current signals, with compatibility for thermocouple types J, K, T, B, E, R, S, N alongside PT100 RTDs and resistance inputs up to 3000 Ohms. It is adept at handling standard signal ranges from 0-20 mA to ±10 V. Noteworthy for its straightforward installation, it fits any slot in an SLC-500 chassis, barring slot 0, and offers simple data exchange with SLC processors through its image table. Operating within a 0 to 60°C temperature range, the module is powered via the SLC-500 chassis, drawing 0.12 Amps at 5 Volts DC and 0.1 Amps at 24 Volts DC, and is built to meet UL, CUL, and CE certifications.
