Description

The Allen-Bradley 1747-L531 is a versatile SLC 5/03 processor module from the SLC 500 Modular series, designed to efficiently manage both small, standalone systems and extensive, complex distributed networks. It is capable of supporting up to 60 various I/O modules, managing up to 4,096 input and output points, and features a memory capacity of 8K, 16K, or 32K, expandable via Flash EPROM to 64K. Connectivity is robust with support for multiple communication protocols including DH-485, ControlNet, Ethernet, and more, facilitated by an RS232 port. The module is C-Tick marked, CE compliant, and UL listed, with an intuitive 3-position key switch for PROGRAM, RUN, and REMOTE modes, and incorporates a hold-up time feature to continue operations briefly in case of power dips. A battery-backed RAM with a two-year lifespan and user-configurable memory options enhance data retention and security, making it a reliable choice for diverse industrial applications.
