The Allen-Bradley 1747-L531 is a versatile SLC 5/03 processor module from the SLC 500 Modular series, designed to efficiently manage both small, standalone systems and extensive, complex distributed networks. It is capable of supporting up to 60 various I/O modules, managing up to 4,096 input and output points, and features a memory capacity of 8K, 16K, or 32K, expandable via Flash EPROM to 64K. Connectivity is robust with support for multiple communication protocols including DH-485, ControlNet, Ethernet, and more, facilitated by an RS232 port.
