The Allen-Bradley 1747-PCIL Chassis Interface Module provides a robust PIC BUS interface through its integration with a PIC BUS card and connector cable. It features a user-configurable 3-position switch and three factory-installed isolated jumpers, including the User, Watchdog, and Last State jumpers. The Last State jumper allows for user-defined settings to hold or reset the state of 1746 I/O modules in case of communication loss. Additionally, the module includes a built-in Watchdog connector offering selectable voltages and status LED indicators for visual diagnostics. It occupies the left slot of the 1746 I/O chassis, has a backplane rating of 100mA at 5V DC, and operates reliably between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius, handling humidity up to 95% and withstanding shocks up to 30G.
