Description

The Allen-Bradley 1747-PIC SLC 500 RS-232 to RS-485 Interface Converter facilitates the connection of RS-232 devices, including SLC 5/03, SLC 5/04, SLC 5/05, and MicroLogix series, to a DH-485 network. This device includes multiple connector configurations, such as a 25-pin connector for interface pin-out and a 3-pin connector for receiving RDX Data, making it suitable for communication through built-in COM1 and COM2 serial ports. Notably, the converter is incompatible with USB-to-serial adapters and serial port extender boards, ensuring reliable operation within its supported infrastructure, all while fitting comfortably with dimensions of 13cm x 10cm x 20cm and a weight of 0.29 kg.
