Description

The Allen-Bradley 1747-SN communication module is designed for efficient Remote I/O (RIO) communication, seamlessly interfacing with devices like PanelView terminals, SLC500 controllers, and third-party units via its specialized RIO Scanner capabilities. Equipped with a single RIO communication port, this module accommodates a broad network reach, supporting up to 16 devices in normal mode and 32 in complementary mode, with data transferred at speeds of 57.6 Kbaud over 3048 meters or 230.4 Kbaud over 762 meters, utilizing an 82 Ohm resistor for termination. This module excels in facilitating data exchange, commissioning SLC500 systems, and supporting remote I/O passthru, all within an operational temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
