The Allen-Bradley 1756-A13 ControlLogix chassis is designed for housing 13 modules, providing both physical support and a backplane that distributes current for module function. It supports operations within a temperature range of 0 to 60°C for Series A and B, and -25 to 60°C for Series C, boasting vibration resistance up to 2 g 10-500 Hz and a shock rating of 30 g. The chassis offers reliable compatibility with Logix 5560, 5570, and 5580 product families, featuring a power-efficient backplane with a current consumption of 1.5 A at 1.2 VDC and a power dissipation of 5.4 Watts. The unit ensures efficient power and communication distribution among modules, incorporates the Removal and Insertion Under Power (RIUP) feature for easy maintenance, and includes electronic keying to prevent replacement errors.
