The 1756-CFM ControlLogix Configurable Flowmeter by Allen-Bradley seamlessly integrates with the ControlLogix Chassis for precise interfacing between a Logix Controller and external I/O devices. This single-slot module features four inputs, accommodating two flow-meter and two gate inputs, with an IEC-certified current rating of 6 to 30mA at 24V DC and a maximum input frequency of 100 KHz. Supporting various input voltages and thresholds, it also offers two current sourcing outputs with optional output ratings and robust protections, including short-circuit protection and a 2A surge current capacity. Noteworthy for its efficiency, it has a backplane current of 300mA at 5.1V DC, a maximum power dissipation of 6W, and operates reliably within a temperature range of 0 to 60°C under high humidity and shock conditions.
