Description

The Allen-Bradley 1756-DNB is a sophisticated DeviceNet Scanner module designed for seamless integration into ControlLogix systems. It efficiently serves as a communication bridge, accommodating DeviceNet data transfers with rates of up to 500 kilobytes per second and supporting up to 64 node addresses. With its capability to communicate using strobe, poll, change of state, and cyclic messages, it allows for the effective organization and exchange of diagnostic tables, input, and output data between DeviceNet devices and Logix5550 controllers. The module, requiring a current draw of 400 milliamps at 5.1 Volts DC and featuring power dissipation of 3.5 Watts, ensures robust performance and energy efficiency, and fits into any available ControlLogix chassis slot, functioning optimally with RSNetWorx.
