The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF6CIS is a robust analog I/O module designed for use within a ControlLogix system, featuring six individually isolated current sourcing inputs with an input range of 0 to 20 mA. Each channel provides an internal power source limited to 28 mA, eliminating the need for an external power supply for two-wire transmitters. Equipped with a 16-bit resolution at 0.34 µA/bit, the module incorporates a digital filter to mitigate input noise and a real-time sampling feature to ensure accurate data capture and processing. The module also includes advanced features such as under-range/over-range detection, configurable process alarms, and wire-off detection to safeguard operations and enhance system reliability.
